NYX Matte Finishing Spray

My previous post was about the NYX Dewy Finishing Spray, I thought it was great and help boost up foundations that looked dry on my skin and I wanted to give the matte version a try to see how it worked for the foundations that were too shiny/oily or “wet” looking on my skin.

I have some foundations that look great and have fantastic coverage, however they can be a heavy coverage, so they tend to look really shiny on my skin sometimes and as I usually do powder my T-Zone there are times that it is not enough and adding more powder can leave my makeup with a cakey finish.  Maybe this matte setting spray was the answer?…oh yes it was.  I actually love this more than the dewy one.

When using this product, it helped my makeup last longer than usual.  Although, I did have to touch up with concealer on my spots, I didn’t have to powder my T-Zone as much as I usually do. I have even just spritzed this on my face again throught out the day and it worked just as well.

This product is very lightweight on the skin but if you apply too much in one go, I did experience my skin feeling a little tight and dry.  The bottle is very small and can easily be carried around anywhere.  This may be perfect to hydrate the skin in the summer without disturbing the makeup.  I have used this bottle for over a month and I still have loads of product left in the bottle, for £6.99 this is really worth it.

Do you have any finishing sprays you are loving at the moment?
