Kiwi & Pomegranate (High Protein Snack)

I am started to get quite fed up of the taste of my protein shake and I have looked around for different recipes of how I can switch it up, so I have kind of modified my own.

Here’s what I have rustled and mixed together and it only took me about two minutes:


(serves 1)

  • 2 kiwi (sliced)
  • Half a slice of pomegranate (deseeded)
  • 2-3 tablespoons of natural greek yoghurt
  • 1 heaped spoon of vanilla protein shake




I buy my protein shake in bulk from Amazon.  This is my favourite: Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard 100% Whey (Cookies & Cream)



Mix greek yoghurt with vanilla protein shake and chuck your fruit on top… THAT’S IT!…



These are great for after the gym or for lunch breaks at work. If you keep in an air-tight food container you can keep them stored in the fridge for 3 days

    This is something i eat every lunch, only without the the protein shake thing but instead i add a spoon of chia seeds and a mix of other seeds which i get in bulk (sunflower, pumpkin and line seeds). I usually have blueberries and pomegranate. Oh and loads of cinnamon. I leave it overnight in the fridge and it thickens up. LITERALLY EVERY DAY AT WORK THIS IS MY MEAL!!!

    Did I really need to tell you all of this? maybe not…
