I have heard some ranting and raving about the Maybelline Master Contour V-Shape. So I thought I would give it a try. I was amazed, I absolutely love it. Its a creamy texture, buildable as well as blendable. This product is a 2in1, it has a contour on one side and a highlighter on the other. (it seriously reminds me of Kinder Surprise eggs). To blend this product, I used the Real Techniques: Miracle Complexion Sponge.
I’m not much of a highlighter, but for the purpose of the review, I tried it. I was worried, everything would just look grey (that happens to me a lot)..but it looks absolutely flawless.
I have also heard about the Maybelline Fit Me Matte & Poreless Foundation. Now I am a bit skeptical when it comes to foundations from drug store brands. I feel like they’re not made for asian skin tones. When I was younger, I have bought foundation and they tend to give me that horrendous grey/green undertone and if I went a darker shade, I was just yellow! So it never worked for me, but I am impressed with this! …This foundation matches my skin perfectly… I love it! I never thought I’d say this about a foundation I bought from Superdrugs, my experience has not been great. But WOW!
This foundation sits really well with normal to oily skin and it looks like SKIN!…due to its flawless finish. The foundation is lightweight to medium finish. I’m not sure if its buildable, but I think if you wanted to, make sure you do one side of the face at a time, the product mattifies quite quickly.
I do have quite a few L’Oreal mascaras and I do love their stuff when it comes to mascara. Decided to try out a new one: L’Oreal Mega Volume Miss Hippie. The mascara wand is ‘fuzzy’, some bristles are long, some are short inbetween, this helps coat the lashes, making them thicker adding great volume on the way. The formula is creamy, not dry or clumpy when you apply twice and does not give that “spider legs look”. The colour is rich and black.
I don’t wear lashes on a normal day to day basis, mainly because I hardly know how to put them on and they just end up falling off!! But on a normal day, I prefer to have a natural look, I came across these:
This product is..ok. Nothing special really, I did apply a very little amount, even though it does state it is a lightweight primer, I still feel it is a little too greasy for me.
